We were very excited to take the overnight train from Bangkok to Utarradit and start our cycling from there. The train was much better than we were expecting, although we were in the first class section and had beds to lie on ... not the case for everyone. We didn't sleep much though, if at all; it's a very noisy, rattly train.
@paulaw Please don't worry Paula ... we had a great time. Too short though ... I could have cycled for ever! Hubby came too this time and he's converted! Success. :-)
