And so, it's time! My first task of the Christmas season is to go through last year's letters and cards and write this year's ones. I love re-reading all my friends' cards and letters - somehow I appreciate them better a year later. Once I've trawled through those, I then go through the address book to make sure I've missed no-one. My husband thinks I'm mad as I could just send everyone an email - but it wouldn't be the same!
That sounds rather time consuming but I am sure all the recipients are appreciative of your cards. I must admit that I go the route of sending an email. I do have the excuse of having a very unreliable postal service!
What a nice idea, reading last year's letters before writing out this year's notes. Your letters would be all the more personal with a refreshing of a family's details.
