I'm letting you into all of my addictions now ... this is another ... coffee! My kids gave me a box of each of these new, Nespresso capsules at Christmas. I'm not too sure about them though - a little too much exotic flavour in them - Vanilla Amaretti, Vanilla Cardamom and Ciocco Ginger. I'll stick to my Roma and Livanto in future I think! Bokeh achieved by using crumpled tinfoil, if you're interested.
Would make a wonderful advert! I love both coffee and vanilla but I don't really enjoy them together, unless it's an iced coffee made with vanilla ice cream! Cannot get my head around the ginger one. We do have a Rooibos tea here in South Africa that has ginger with it and it's very pleasant.
@salza Yes, ginger and tea sounds nicer than ginger and coffee. Even vanilla is a bit too much for me with coffee. However, it's nice to try something different!
I'm lovin' the bokeh! (And thanks for tip on how you created it.) Creative idea, setting these little cups upside down. Something tells me I'd like the cardamon one. Love that spice.
(I'm missin' 365 something fierce but it's a good thing I decided to take a break for a bit because there hasn't been a spare moment for anything since the new year got started.)
@lyndemc Ah Denise, you may be missin' 365 something fierce, but we are missing you more!! I have refrained from sending you a begging message asking you to come back ... because it's not fair and only you can judge whether you have the time, energy or desire to participate. But thank you so much for popping in past and for your lovely comments. I'm still hoping that one day soon I'll log on and see a Denise photo on my thread! :-)
This is absolutely wonderful! By turning those adorable little cups upside down, it created a mystery as to what they were! And "Tin Foil"! That's awesome! Of course we'll all be wanting to give that a try now! A lovely photo presentation! (And you charming, breathy photo- text as well!)
A very attractive image Issi. I'm not sure about adding flavourings to coffee, think I prefer it plain. That said I do like Turkish coffee with it's wonderful flavours. Maybe it's because they only drink very small cups of it so the flavours don't become too much! Great effect from the foil, must try that!
