Still in Passy

Another from my afternoon hanging out in the Passy graveyard.
WOW why an image! This is so striking and yet so moving. It sadly reminds me of the cafe bombing still fresh in my memory...

@Weezilou Yes, I hear you. It could almost be a tribute photograph for that day ... it speaks of Paris and, sadly, it speaks of death too.

Oh, I love this, cool pov, focus and dof.

An interesting pair. I heard that new barriers are going up to protect the tower!

A charming photograph, and your words touched a spot with me.

@pusspup Yes, I was listening to that on the news last night. Not sure how that will turn out, but the tower must be a security risk with everything that's gone on over the last 2 years. It will be interesting to see how the 'wall' pans out. I was against the glass pyramid at the Louvre when it went up, and now I really like it, so I have to keep an open mind!

Ah, memories. In 1988, I lived on Rue Lauriston, and often walked to my job on the Rue de Passy. I know this spot well.

@squamloon Oh, lots of nice restaurants on rue Lauriston. My favourite is Le Victor.
