Aker Brygge

We made it safely to Oslo yesterday and had a lovely dinner down by the water in Aker Brygge last night. On our way back to the hotel, we came across this lovely statue gracing a street corner.

I feel a sense of sadness, looking at this. The depicted individual appears to be in despair. Then again, there's been moments I've wanted to kiss the ground, so happy to be back on it after a harrowing experience while off of it!
