I sometimes feel like these dandelions. There in the background is my former self. Bright and golden haired. And here in the foreground is my new self. Grey haired and crinkly. However, it happens to us all and we just need to brace for impact! Happy Friday folks! Posting ahead of schedule as I know tomorrow is full on!
Wonderful composition and juxtaposition of the young and the older versions. How true about bracing for the inevitable changes that life brings. What we have to find is the ability to be impressed we actually reached the 'going to seed' stage. :)
Oh, dearest, Issi! What a brilliant analogy, but YOU...you're fit and healthy and still young!!! God willing, we're all headed this way eventually, but don't rush it!! (And we ALL know there's so much beauty in those dandelions-gone-to-seed!)
Wonderful use of DoF. Lovely narrative...and one I can definitely relate to (but must say, in your 'selfies' you have a long way to go to be gray and wrinkly!
