A lovely peaceful walk followed by 25 for dinner and a very late night. Only one glass of wine spilled (white fortunately), one broken chair (an old and delicate one) and one champagne cork rebounded off the kitchen roof (excitement from the winner of the Mancala championship). Our new extension is well and truly christened. We will not be doing that every year, that's for sure, but it was a lovely day and evening. A quiet day in order today. Our daughter is winging her way back to Norway. The girlfriend leaves tomorrow and our son leaves on Friday. It's going to be quiet around here next week! Have a great New Year everyone!

That's a lovely shot and I did like your story! We also had a broken chair this holiday but hubby has done the wood glue trick and got me to test it out!!!
