The summit of Creag Ghiubhais

This summit of this hill has been a long time coming! Our house is named after it (albeit spelled phonetically ... Craiguise), and I've wanted to go up for some time now. It's not a high hill (486 m), but quite tricky as there's no established path to the top and a few rock faces to avoid on the way down in particular. So, we finally made it this afternoon. :-) I balanced the camera on the branch of a tree for this 'selfie'.
Well done....can you see your house from there ?

Such beautiful surroundings. What a treat to have that on your doorstep.

@cutekitty No! Unfortunately. No idea why our house is named after this hill. It's nearby, but not that nearby.

You live in a beautiful and rugged place. My first ththought as I looked at this image is how much you two enjoy each other. Such a wonderful thing.

This is a super selfie, and what an achievment. Since our travels in Scotland, I know exactly what it means to walk "wild" as wie say and not having a well-worn track.

236m of 'mountain' sounds the sort of thing I might tackle!

@vignouse He he ... my mistake! 486m - still not very high, but a little more than I first wrote! Narrative has been duly amended. :-)
