Turn off the main road, ascend our beloved hill, and enjoy the birds! Mother Nature provides a banquet for birds along our roadside, and the sound of an approaching vehicle always sends feasting feathered friends into a tizzy. They zip into the densest shrubs and wait for onlookers to pass. While they’re difficult to spot once under cover, their initial frenzied flight reveals their beautiful presence. We thoroughly enjoy this daily treat!
I'm getting my feet wet with Lightroom, so I tried a bit of post-processing; but in the end, I liked this SOOC-except-for-a-watermark-and-tiny-crop image best.
I like the way the soft main subject is offset from the centre of the picture, and the out of focus background, lovely colours. Your use of alliteration is perfect for the note.
Really nicely composed with perfect dof to have those berries stand out. Like the soft muted tones. Understand what you're saying about the way the get in such a tizzy - one panics and the rest follow :) Funny to watch.
