Marley and I enjoyed a drive to North Park this afternoon. I saw geese and a hawk and a flock of robins, water glistening on a lake, and a river snaking its way between hills. Puffy clouds dotted the sky, and a puppy peeked out of the window in a truck; but what I saw most were icicles gripping every rocky ledge. Tall, short, thick, thin, clean, dirty, dripping and not. What a thrill to find so many and such an interesting variety!
Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
- Psalm 111:2
It is indeed good that we have eyes to see. These icicles holding on until the temperature allows them no longer to exist, have been captured in their moment of glory extremely well.
