We planted this little Japanese Maple last Summer, and then we wondered. Would it survive Winter? Two other trees planted in this very spot over the years did not. Third time’s a charm? We hoped. Approaching this bed on a little garden walk this morning, I saw pretty pink wings; and my heart soared!
Happy April, everyone! Thank you all so much for your wonderful response to my recent images. I truly appreciate every word and fav. You are all so kind to take the time to stop by and support my project!
How wonderful to see life in this one ...I hope that it thrives for you! Japanese maples can be tough plants; we had one that was eaten down to the ground by a deer, and it still came back and grew.
Such a simple and beautiful image. Sometimes less is more and it is so in this case Janet. Lovely! :) Happy April to you as well and I'll cross my fingers that this one thrives.
