Nap Time

I entered the Wetlands exhibit at the National Aviary yesterday to admire the beautiful Flamingos and have a go at capturing their graceful movements. Funny, my favorite image showed no movement at all! While many of the Flamingos preened, dipped bills into water to feed, and stretched wings, this sleepyhead tried time and time again to close its eyes; but the slightest sound kept it from enjoying a nap.
