It seems like Kelowna is popular with the movie industry the past couple years and we were fortunate to run into a film crew today. At least this grip is dressed for Kelowna weather today...hot. There are people dressed in winter coats that must be actor seconds to fill in crowd scenes and a Christmas wreath hanging on a door. I'll have to check what winter movie is being filmed in town.
The Hallmark Channel films a lot of Christmas movies every summer. I have seen them filming around the Vancouver area. It’s funny to see fake snow, Christmas decorations and people bundled up in fur coats in July during 30° heat.
@ludwigsdiana my brother got his boat hired for a film with Mel Gibson, that had parts shot here. It's cool to see my brother's name in the credits on the big screen.
