New Walk

Behind the blue sign post is New Walk which leads into York beside the river Ouse. At the moment high waders or a canoe might make it accessible.
The area where the trees are reflected are usually grass with benches for sitting to watch the river flow safely behind the trees

That does look like a lot of water - and winter isn't even here yet! Lovely shot with the reflected blue sky and the ring of golden leaves.

@janturnbull it’s high, but not as high as it was at the start of the year and by no means near the ridiculously high record. I enjoyed trying to find the right shot today
