Free at last

Egg laid April 22 very slowly developed because of cold weather. The usual 10-12 days stretched on and on, but today, here she is.
This is a day of personal importance tinged with sorrow, but the first Brimstone of 2021 adds light to the darkness.

@markp you have a choice of 2, Buckthorn or as I have, Alder Buckthorn. I was given my tiny tree in 2016 and Mrs B has visited every year, to my delight and enjoyment. Many thanks for your comment
