Felicity's Gate.

Looking into York Cemetery from Low Moor Allotments. Established 1837 & still used for burials but is also a nature reserve.
No one knows who Felicity was or why she had a gate named after her or even when.
A mysterious mystery.

A lovely shot. I know nothing about the origin of the name for the gate, but I have just discovered that there was a crime novel called Felicity's Gate, set in York Cemetery and written by Julian Cole, published in 2009.
