The importance of being Ivy

Please let your Ivy grow. This huge bush is full of flowers and there are masses of Wasps and other nectar feeders hungrily taking advantage of the feast offered.
Most of the insects are in their final days but their Queens will be finding safe havens to over winter before they emerge in spring to start the life cycle over again.

“. But, they have their place in nature. Nice shot!
