We went out early in the morning in our canoe at our swimming lake hoping to shoot osprey in flight since we'd been watching the parents and their two babes as we swam for a month or so. This one flew right over my head and I just about fell over backwards shooting it. I really like the way the light was falling on him.

I see so many great osprey photos on 365, and they don't cooperate for me at all. So I really appreciate this one with the feathers lit up and the eyes right at the camera. Fav.
