I tried to upload this before I left for Oakland for a family wedding. For some reason it didn't upload. Woops. I love playing with long exposures.
I was gone all weekend until last night and took lots of pictures but I arrived home with the flu and can barely manage sitting at the computer for a few minutes.
I'm so sorry I am so behind on commenting. I can't see how I am going to catch up...hopefully in the next couple of days I will at least visit your more recent shots. If any of the people I follow have particular shots they'd like me to see for sure, please let me know
This is fabulous Jane. So very beautifully sleek. I love the variety in the blues. Don't worry too much about catching up. We can all only do what we can comfortably do.
It had actually been posted, Jane, I remember commenting on this beautiful composition and colours and softening of the water from the long exposure. Really a textbook composition with the horizon at the perfect height (and level, how else coming fro you!) and the bridge running diagonally across the frame...it was a fav the first time and it is a fav again!
@ericdibosco am I going nuts? I know I posted the centered one in my extras on the 17th. I don't think I posted this before...I just looked through my albums and don't see it?
@jgpittenger Well, perhaps it is me going nuts...do I perhaps remember commenting on the one in the extras album? LOL! I only thought it had been posted and got lost, because you said "it didn't upload"...same thing has happened to me before! Anyway, I can only reiterate my comment: It is really gorgeous!
Oh wow! FAV! Love the surface of the water, the structural element of the bridge and that lovely horizon. But I am sorry you have the flu... take extra care of you... saying a little prayer you get well FAST!
Hope you feel better soon
