Queen Anne's Lace In the Woods

I had such a great experience of how photography can be therapeutic yesterday when I was still feeling pretty glum after the Newport photoshoot. When I edited the grey cement stairs and had the sense looking at them of walking down into "despair" (some exaggeration here!) and thought to add the bright poppy- one of my favorite flowers- immediately my mood shifted. I loved hearing people's different feelings about the flower being there, but for me it did its magic!
This is some more photoshop wildness using layers with one with radial blur and one without and masking out the blur on the flower.
Thanks again for being on this journey with me, for your visits, support, comments, suggestions, favs
Great zoom effect!

Wow -- what an amazing combination. Like Chantal, I thought it was a lensbaby, but it was so rich in color! I really like how this came out -- dramatic and mysterious.

Very cool!! At first, I thought it was a lensbaby shot, but you achieved a great effect in PS! Well done....and, yes, photography is incredibly therapeutic (and, also frustrating at times!),,,

I like this a lot. It gives the sense that there is much more story to tell about this scene.
