I've been gone for almost two weeks and fear I will never catch up with commenting. I have about 1000 shots to go through so I figured I would just start with any one and get posting again! I took a fabulous macro class so more macro will follow as well as some other pictures from the trip and I will start looking and commenting on your shots as soon as possible. if any of the people I follow have particular shots from the last two weeks that you would like me to see, please send me a notification because I fear otherwise I will miss them.

Jane, this is fantastic. What you did here that I love is use the lighting to create depth and make the center petals the focal point. The color is so vivid. This really pops. No worries re catching up. That's impossible! Better to start by looking forward!
