Another shot of the windblown tree. Jim found another rat's nest in our old van RV and we took it out for a spin just before sunset and brought my camera along. The van worked fine though some burning smell from what we couldn't pull out of the nest and some lovely clouds came in.

@888rachel well we drove it down to Santa Barbara on its maiden voyage...way too long a trip. We plan on using it for overnight shoots so I can get sunset and sunrise and trips closer to home...lots to explore in OR and the Pacific Northwest
Fav'd earlier from the car but had to see larger. It's really quite amazing -- gorgeous colors -- no wonder you want to be on the coast at sunrise! And rats nest???????? Ugh!
@taffy the SECOND rats nest...the first one ate through wires. Thankfully Jim found this one before that happened and persuaded me that it was ok to use rat poison since it has no interest in the live traps...the wonders of country living
