I've been purging some of the old photos from my hard drive and finding old ones I want to reedit with what I know now. This was the night I first photographed stars. Jim was asleep in the tent as I set up my gear in our campground in Zion NP. I was thrilled with the experience and mostly liked my shots that highlighted the milky way. But in my revisiting the shots, this one popped out at me and I tweaked it a bit.The milky way is in it but not featured. Best on black.
