Sea Turtle

We had a fabulous time snorkeling this morning though sadly still no sign of the spinner dolphins. I was so excited to see this sea turtle swimming beside me, but infuriated to find all the circles especially the one on his head. Anyone have any ideas re what causes them?
I was so pleased that you liked yesterday's long exposure shot. Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs

Really nice shot - even with the circles - which I wouldn't have paid any attention to if you hadn't mentioned them. Just figured it was something to do with being under water.

Yes, a pity, but it's a great shot nevertheless.

It's almost like bokeh.

Great shot. Does almost seem like a sort of bokeh.

I'd have just thought it was part of the background. Super shop anyway Jane

Definitely look like jelly fish. Look out for those. Neat shot!

neat capture, light catching air in the water> I really don't know.

Could it be that your flash went off?

Could the circles be reflected light of some kind? As in 'duh' except I can't think of what else -- and the image is magical anyway!

Such memories . . . one of my very fondest memories ever of swimming is following a giant sea turtle in the Galapagos and photographing it. Long before 365, so taken with an underwater point and shoot. This one is mysterious and lovely, and I like all those magical circles!
