@taffy oh Taffy, so sorry. I hope it is as easily fixed as mine was but I know the anxiety it entails. May it turn out well. I'm excited to see the rest of your Iceland photos
@jgpittenger Not good...I got back from Apple a little bit ago and my library is not accessible. I have to send it to a data recovery place in CA, which will take several days and only have a 50-50 chance for recovery. Then, next step is to wipe the computer and put in a new operating system. I'm backed up as of March 16th, but I will lose everything in the catalogue from Iceland if they can't do the recovery. That includes all the ones Pall helped me with re framing and lighting/processing. And all the ones I processed while there. I have the originals but some were HDR and I didn't keep the original files so may have lost some of my best ones. I did a second backup all but one day, so if did delete from disk, I'm hoping that it won't delete from the second backup. All in all, so very very discouraged. I have stopped crying at least.
@taffy TAFFY!!!!! I feel your pain!!!! Broke my hard drive last fall when I dropped it on the ceramic floor, and I did NOT have the backup-ed backup that I thought I had! UGH!!!!
