Best by far on black. We went on a hike yesterday late afternoon in between rain storms and I decided to bring my camera. I'm really glad I did! What a thrill. Last Summer we went to Rhode Island and I tried and tried to get a good night heron shot without much success. Yesterday, even without a good bird lens, I got an amazing series of shots with him watching for dinner, catching it, carrying it to a place that he could eat it in peace, flying with it, and finally swallowing it whole with his gullet filled. I was jumping with glee!
