Tasmanian Waratah by jgpittenger

Tasmanian Waratah

I went to a fabulous botanical garden with some friends and will be sharing photos from there in the next few days. This is being raised on the Oregon Coast despite having come from Tasmania. The original owner and developer of the gardens brought some unique species from other environment and bred them to flourish here. He sounds like an incredibly gifted botanist.

I didn't know any of that information Jane, very interesting. And the waratah seems to be thriving there. Lovely shot with great dof.
