Best on black. Well, we didn't get to go on our trip. While I was having my eye surgery, Jim took Pearl on a walk on her LONG leash. She saw a squirrel. Jim thought it would be fun to let her chase it. Jim didn't realize how her momentum on a long leash would increase her weight and strength about 20 x. Jim landed HARD on his shoulder. We went to urgent care. He will probably have to have surgery. We are home again with him very gimped up. So I went out in hopes of capturing the milky way at one of my favorite spots when my star app said the milky way would be coming up behind the windblown tree. It was a beautiful night but too much marine layer and haze for the milky way! At least I got stars.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Oh no poor Jim! The dogs really have a pull on them when on the leash and George has nearly had me over a couple of times! Hope Jim recovers quickly without surgery! I have never seen the Milky Way - maybe one day!
Oh no, poor Jim, that would hurt like mad, even worse than a wounded ego. No hope of stopping a dog like Pearl in full flight on the end of a lead. I didn't know you were having eye surgery, hope things are Ok with you too. Lovely blue hour shot BTW.
Very impressive night sky. Particularly on black.
