If you look carefully, you will see her tongue is out trying to catch the fluff that she dropped! I was so happy you liked yesterday's post and hope you don't get sick of my hummers. They make me smile...an important thing these days! This shot is also from yesterday but I just got back from capturing 576 more hummer shots! Yikes. The red bokeh is a car's brake light.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
@kschroed LOL. I set a really high shutter speed, use continuous autofocus, and high speed repeated shots and hold down the shutter when she’s there and then delete, delete, and delete! It’s really fun to go through the shots because I get to see all the changes in position she makes in fractions of seconds
Just a great shot. Fav. I use a similar method but seldom with such dramatic results. Love how you've caught her with the thistle in her beak. And the way that the background goes to blur. That's another side benefit of the fast shutter speed.
