Moon Going Down Behind the Rocks At Heceta Lighthouse Park
Best on black. It seems like forever since we've had clear skies for a full moon so I dragged myself out of bed in the dark to go shoot it as it set. It was gorgeous to watch and I had the park to myself.

It must have been nice to get out there in the dark, and you made a lovely image. We have skunks, a coyote and a fox in our neighborhood, plus the occasional bobcat, so I am not sure I would be comfortable doing the same.
Spectacular, Jane! Love the colors, the peacefulness, the position of the moon. But I wish you didn't have the park to yourself. I wish I had been standing next to you! (I wonder, what do you think of your signature at the lower right corner? It grabbed my attention at the top, but maybe that's what you intended?)
@jgpittenger@jyokota First -- Jane, it's spectacular! Love the lighting (agree about moving your signature) and the ambiance. And totally agree, too early for me so thank goodness I have your "eye" to see these early morning scenes.
@jgpittenger -- @taffy and I are more likely to have been still up from the night before than waking up early! But for a view like this, and with friends, we probably could have gotten @rosiekerr to join us, too! I really really really hope to go on another photo outing together once this pandemic is over!
