Marbled Godwit In Fog

We hiked on the beach in heavy fog and saw these unfamiliar birds. I suspect they must be migrating through.

The whole migrating of birds fascinates me. Some I know (arctic terns) migrate from Siberia to Antarctica! They aren't big birds either.
