Bandon Rocks Cloudy Sunset Black and White

Black and white version of the shot from my main album. I still feel like a black and white novice. Please offer any suggestions

This is terrific but the colour one seems more vibrant.

I like this as well, but the colors give it a mood of the "bad" weather ending, the sun coming back. This still has all the the visual elements that made the other interesting, but a different mood. Hmm, the waves breaking do not really show up in this version, so there is the loss of that one detail. Overall it's a gorgeous B&W, and you chose a good level of contrast.

I too like the color version better. This is more of a mood shot than the color photo, so to increase the moody feeling, I would have tried a darker version. Maybe that would not have worked, but I think it might be worth a try.
