Hang Glider

Best viewed large. Looking off our lanai this morning while we ate a huge breakfast after a very long swim with the dolphins, I spied this hang glider. Because of recent disrespect to a sacred Hawaiian site (Captain Hook Monument that looks like a white monument on the far side of the bay), they shut down the bay to kayakers. Only people on tours can go by boat to the other side of the bay. So we swam...a mile each way. I am a strong swimmer but that is a long way for me!
Sorry re being a slouch re commenting while on vacation. i will do what I can
Gorgeous capture. Enjoy your vacation and don't worry about us. We will be here waiting for your experiences.

I am very, very impressed that you can swim that far. I would need to spend most of the time on my back, resting, and probably would end up feeding the fishes. Beautiful scene, and undeveloped for Hawaii.

I'm very impressed with your swimming ability! What a beautiful scene. I'd be tempted to try the parasailing in order to see all that from up high--but only if I didn't get dunked and could use my camera. Is the black/brown area burnt, or a relatively recent lava flow?
