This lily was shot with my macro lens with 7 different focus points from the closest to the camera to the farthest away. Then I took them into photoshop to combine the layers. And voila! I took them insidethis time so I didn't have wind to deal with. If you enlarge it, you will see that the focus is sharp front to back! I am exstatic that I am finhally pleased with the results. It isn't the most exciting composition but I was working with the focus stacking instead.

Congratulations, Jane! Yes I agree: you have nailed it! Great technique...I just love it! Did you use your tripod and manual focus, or a focusing rail?
@sabanford Did you see the link I posted to Creativelive.com? There will be a free five days on photoshop! Another option is the beginning Ben Willmore photoshop class on the same site...that you now have to pay for since it has already happened. It is FABULOUS!!!!!
