Flicker

I've been gone all day shooting waterfalls which I will post sometime soon, but I am behind on visiting and commenting on your shots. I will get to it soon.
I looked out my living room window and saw this beauty at the top of a snap that was so far away that I needed my binocs to identify the bird. Considering how far it was, I thought my 300 mm did a pretty good job...with lots of cropping

Oh how I love the Flickers. I get them at my feeders during the summer. All my summer birds are gone for the winter. Great capture!
