Pam's @pamknowler bokeh photo of Finlay inspired me to try the same with my kitty Luna. She wasn't too happy to be photographed...though she has pretty strong opinions about lot of things. She is the family critic but I love her.

In fact, she does not look happy at all! Pretty funny expression!! Aren't animals interesting? They all have their own personalities . Our two dogs -- same mixed breed -- They look alike, but they are so different. Even our two rescued California Desert tortoises! Really!! Watch them for a few minutes, and you'll see a very different personality itn each. (Nice heart shaped bokeh..)
@rhodie no, regular Christmas lights. I cut out round place construction paper the diameter of the lens I was using. Cut out heart shape in middle of it. Made black construction paper cone that fit over lens leaving enough room for focus to work and then attached circle to cone to cover the end of lens and shot
