Interesting...I prefer this one and am surprised at myself. I think there's more empty space than needed in the other one, and this emphasizes how the fog lines follow the shore. Beautiful!
Gorgeous - and my favorite, too. Like the clarity and clearer details - I just seem to see more. Both are terrific and a great study in how a scene can be interpreted many ways.
This is a photo I took on the first Friday in March from the West Shelter at Cape Perpetua http://365project.org/peterdegraaff/year-5/2016-04-21 It stopped raining momentarily but the wind was wild and the sea just white with foam and a huge swell. I wasn't feeling well so didn't manage many photos. That evening we stopped at Florence, and the next day headed down to Port Orford. We had an early dinner out on the pier at Port Orford while it was still light. The wind felt close to hurricane force and the rain was coming in side ways. When waves crashed the water never landed because the wind just carried it away. The diner felt snug but we had a sense of possibly being blown away at an minute. It was quite unbelievable, but an adventure nonetheless.
