Cattle Egrets

We spotted a bunch of cows with egrets riding on their backs and I asked Jim to stop. He did and I grabbed my camera but a really big and noisy truck drove by and scared them off the cows. We waited for a while but sadly they didn't come back to the cows. I thought they looked pretty cool against the dark threatening sky.

That sky really makes this shot. The egrets look quite amazing in their own right, but standing there against the incoming storm is pretty impressive. Would have been cool to see them on the cows.
