"It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and a lifetime to forget them." This is my signature on Weight watchers and says it all for me. Today would have been my 10th anniversary. I knew Jim all my life as his first wife was my mother's best friend and they lived next door. But we didn't start dating until after my parents and his wife had passed. He was 32 years my senior and I wasn't sure I wanted to get involved with a man that age as I had just finished taking care of my mother. But he made me laugh and I thought why would you not date a man who made you laugh all the time. It was a wise choice and this wonderful man gave me a great gift - the gift of love. He died a couple of years ago and it was a blessing because he had developed vascular dementia. But he always knew me even as he forgot everything else. I wish all of you that kind of love.
Joan, thank you for sharing your story and this special day. I take it the card is an example of your scrapbooking work - it's lovely and I hope it brings back many happy memories today.
@debbie3108@barbarajdonnellan@vignouse@featherstone@eyesmile@caroljayne I had a very busy day at work and no time to get into a funk. Came home made a sandwich and grabbed a small bottle of bubbly took these to bed and then fell asleep exhausted. Now today is just another day. Thank you for visiting. Richard, this is a scrap page I created.
So glad I stumbled across it looking for your get pushed challenge.
