Experimenting with more selfies. Not as happy with results, but I have too much work to do tomorrow so this is it for this challenge. Will choose one of the three for me new avatar to start my new year. You are welcome to weigh in on my descision.
This one gets my vote Joan but I would prefer that you reprocessed it to reproduce the low-key effect of your first try but retaining the better quality and naturalness of this one. Just sayin'...
I think I like this the best Joan. The lighting is lovely. The eye my left your right .. looks better in this one, and i like the softness of this capture. Well done.
I'm in agreement with those who've voted for this shot (although I've only looked at the thumbnails of the others). This is really nice and natural looking. I also like the lighting and your expression seems the most relaxed in this one. But I know how you feel. I hate selfies too- and try to avoid them at all costs!
As for the "burst" setting- some cameras call it the "sports mode". I'm sure your D90 has it as it is a step up from the camera I have. If you can't find it on your own, ask here- I'm sure someone knows where it is in the Nikon.
@olivetreeann Okay I do have sports mode. Right now I am knee deep (who am I kidding I've been down for two counts and trying not to go down for the third) with my year end accounting duties. So after the accountants have their information I will be able to read up on this. I understand how this works.
@joansmor You can only do so much- and there's no pressure to learn it tomorrow! So now you know it's there and you'll be able to get to it when your time frees up. I hope your week goes really well and the work gets done to your satisfaction.
