A not unusual site in Maine in the winter as the lobster boats are grounded. Behind are blueberry bushes. Then there are the piles of wood for either the wood stove or furnace. So a very quintessential winter scene in Maine. And a touch of morning pink to boot.
Hi @joansmor I've been paired with you for the Get Pushed Week 184, so the challenge I have come up with is for:
A long lens shot that uses intentional camera movement (ICM).
You mentioned in one of your posts that you keep leaving the long lens at home, so hopefully this will be a good excuse to experiment with it, I think you also mentioned wanting to try panning, so that counts as ICM too, though it would be great to see a land or seascape using other forms of ICM too. Most importantly have fun.
@lizhammond Thanks this sounds interesting. I have done both ICM and Panning before as well as zoom bursts. But will have to see what I can come up with my long lens. I leave my long lens so often because I think of it more for watching the birds outside my window. I will come up with a challenge for you in a little bit.
@joansmor no worries, lets hope the challenge gets you to think of that lens in a different way. I saw some zoom burst, but didn't catch the panning but how about going for a longer exposure and moving the camera rather than the lens - for an abstract double exposure feel. Looking forward to hearing what you have planned for me!
