How I started my day

I went out at about 6 am to pick strawberries. I have to cook them and strain can't eat the seeds because they can cause a blockage in my system. They are in the crockpot and will be done soon. I know when I posted several years ago about our strawberry plants people in Europe were surprised how low to the ground the plants and fruit are here.

I learned when I was putting together strawberry trivia games for an event this month that our US strawberries are related to but not the same as the ones in Europe. Ours have been further cultivated and cross-bred. good shot.
