Ok, @andywallis my get pushed partner this week gave me this "My challenge for you is a "not shy" self portrait - that is, not so abstract that you can hardly be seen at all, but other than that any style or processing you like :) I am so in my box behind the camera that I needed to include it in the shot- kinda like a pacifier or sorts.
@maskerade@pusspup@chard@greenpeg@greenpeg Thank you so very very much. I am still flabbergasted that this shot worked the way it did. I really am intrigued with the bending of light, gonna play more with this.
@kali66 Thank you a great deal, my lens was my macro which probably gave this the soft look. I might step out front more but could take some bribery. @kategoring Thank you very much, I am trying to step out more but don't have the courage often. @stephanies Thank you, I know to take self portraits is good but also takes that courage thingy.
@overalvandaan I am very grateful for the fav and also since you told me what the effect is called. I just remember playing with mirrors in store dressing rooms when I was a kid.
@sdutoit I used paint.net- ink sketch and cropped. The ink effect is under 'effects' then 'artistic' - it's a free software that is intuitive and easy on the brain- or least mine. Thank you so much for the fav!!!!
@shesnapped Thank you, not sure if you ever played with mirrors in dressing rooms as a kid but I did. Still fascinated with the way light bends. Thank you again for the challenge.
I am so amazed that you all liked this. It was just an idea that popped into my mind while walking. Thank you ever so much!!!
@kategoring Thank you very much, I am trying to step out more but don't have the courage often.
@stephanies Thank you, I know to take self portraits is good but also takes that courage thingy.
