This an Aspen tree with some of lower branches trimmed off- I was reminded of Egyptian Hieroglyphs when I saw this. Maybe not enough strong shadows for the fortnight challenge but couldn't resist.

This is very creative and well captured. I really like the intensity of your shots and the creative processing . . . . a lot of set shots so how about I challenge you to a shot that captures activity/motion,etc. Good luck.
