Try no 2

My get pushed challenge from @gerry13 was to take a low key shot. I don't have a lot of fancy lights so I grabbed my old lamp, using a blue bulb and my tripod with remote. This was f 22 for 29 seconds.
Well done! I love the light, it's just enough to make me look longer. Great response to your challenge.

I agree with Kate. You did a nice job since low light photos are never easy.
I've done a few, but I still need to practice. I do like the color tone which gives it a mood of mystery.

@kategoring @nydelignorsk Thank you very much, I can just hear my Mom saying Joy, don't read in that kind of light, bad for your eyes.

@gerry13 Well here is no 2. I might be getting the hand of this but maybe not.

Well done for getting hubby to stay still for so long. I tried this a while back and used s candle,which gave a nice soft look

@deborah63 I think the candle would have been better. I should give that a try.

Really like this - the green hue is very calming.

Looks good.

I really like this. At first I thought that a warm ordinary lamp light color would have been nicer, maybe so, but too conventional. The green tone makes it a very interesting portrait.

That is seriously in focus for someone sitting 29 entire seconds

@gerry13 Thank you, I must continue to step outside my box on low light shots - your challenge has been good for me but more practice is needed.

@megpicatilly Thank you very much, it was a blue bulb in a small table lamp. I also like blue/greenness.
@la_photographic Thank you.
@octogenarian Truly appreciate your kind words. Not sure if the length of exposure that made the blue bulb take on a different value or just bad lighting in general. It was a good challenge for me since I need to work on this area more.
@francoise Thanks, it was supposed to be 35 seconds because I was counting in my head. Low light has its advantages for lack of sharpness.
