@ziggy77 Thank you so much for the fav. I was kinda stumped "V" but saw this toy in the store and bingo.

@lizhammond Thank you a great deal for the fav. This little toy is as close as I'm going to get to the real thing and than includes surfing. I just like to watch the surfers having fun.

@pusspup I miss the ocean but do go at least once a year. The traditional surfer mobile is mostly now in movies.

@megpicatilly Thank you, I wanted an old time quality so I shot in high contrast b&w.

@sdutoit Thank you very much. I've never tried to 'hang 10' but it does/did look like fun.

@deborah63 @susale Thanks, the toy van is going to be added to my boys collection. I used a greeting card for the background and borrowed the sand from my cactus.

@cjphoto Thank you, it was a Safeway find (go figure) anyway, I saw a book at Half Price Books in Phoenix that you might like, "Art Toys" by Douglas Rushkoff with photography by Brian McCarty.

@joysabin - Cool! I've seen Brian McCarty's toy photos before, they tend to have a deep meaning and very powerful style. I'll have to check out that book. :)

I love how you "made" this picture! With the "sand" and the pic of the surf boards, very imaginative, fav.
