Persian Gulf War 1991

Another oldie but the message still stands. Taken at a war protest in Corvallis Oregon.

Amazed that this one didn't need any 'touch ups'.
we all said "no" and they just ignored us

This is so intriguing to see the scene knowing what is going on 15 years later.

This world seems to be colder... It is important that there are people who stand up and say: No!

The message is still strong but does anyone listen?

yes, still true.

Very cool. We were the same: heaps of people on the street, but totally ignored at the time. There will someday be a reckoning for the years of Bush, Blair and Howard (our particular Prime Minister) Preferably in the Hague Criminal Court :\

@kali66 I was stunned that Georgie No.1 did. Not all that political but at times I can't seem to ignore the insanity.
@taffy War like change is always with us it seems. Will we ever learn??? @jerome Pre internet does seem a bit more gentle. I don't really want to go back. The 'trolls' back then were much less vocal than they are today.
@maskerade Those who listen don't get heard where it counts.
@chard I liked the message but was worried about the group - I will always support the right to stand up and have your say.
@sketch2 If would be a great day when those who orchestrate such mayhem find the courage to admit the truth. We can only hope.

@pickerandagrinner Thank you so very much. I have always respected those who do so we at home are safer- Thank you!!!!!!
@stephanies I was using a minolta XG1 with tri-x. I don't believe I had a polarizer for that baby but might have. It has been 25 years- (oh my goodness). Not sure if you follow Louis A. Sousa @pickerandagrinner he is very well versed in film and post a great deal of it that is just gorgeous. I also have an Epson Flatbed scanner so I don't need an enlarger to print my negatives.

@kingstonroadcreative Thanks, I wish they (those dimwhits in charge) would listen to those without the money now and then.
