@jeffinvt Yeah right! The temps are above freezing so it won't last!
@s4sayer Pity about that warming light, that is our local street light but I wanted to get the orange glow on the blanket of snow. The temps are moderate so it won't last.
@gardencat Thank you, I will mention in the caption about viewing on black. It won't last, thank goodness, the temps are above 0 but any water around here is good.
@blueberry1222 Actually I am, I'm taking a class with Arizona Highway's "Fun in the Dark" on Saturday then we go into the field for practical work out in Apache Junction which is hopefully far enough east to be 'dark' enough.
@evalieutionspics Spring snow is sneaky but doesn't last too long. We are to get into the mid 50's (12C) tomorrow. I want and need Hawaii!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Not a pretty sight but at 7000ft elevation its part and parcel of this place.
@octogenarian I tried to hand hold a first but lack of coffee and too long I got the tripod. We got about 7 inches total but it won't last long- into the mid 50's (approx 12 C) tomorrow. Thank you so very kindly for the fav.
@graemestevens Thank you very much, good thing it was dark outside, I took this from my front porch in my PJ's.
@stephanies Completely grateful for the fav, thank you. Waking up early to the snow was unsettling. We had rain and thunder the night before so I wasn't prepared for the 5 inches of snow. I am glad that I didn't have an audience since I took this shot in my pj's standing on my front porch.
Believe it or not...we haven't had any! As we're only an hour from both Atlantic and English Channel coasts, the likelihood is slight to nil.

But I am sorry for the snow, 5 inches, did you say? or did you mean 5 centimeters? ;-)

@brett101 It does, thank you. Making art out of adversity is good for the soul- so they say :):)
