I did not witness this but my house was chewed upon by my DOG! My son saw her biting and eating the facing boards at the back door. Mind you, my house has been coated with a combination of cement and wood to slow down any fires. Cement must be a part of her dietary requirements- who knew my dog was part termite. Now to figure out a suitable deterrent and remedy. I just love Monday's-NOT!
Oh I sympathise! I heard the sound of gentle gnawing a few days ago and the door frame was under attack. Think this puppy thinks "No!" is her name I say I so often ...
@golftragic@pickerandagrinner@jernst1779@tstb13@fbailey@gardencat@dfarrington Thank you all so much for the commiseration and idea of hot sauce which is now sprayed all along the base of the house. I also bought a puzzle toy which has treats inside and requires her to figure out how to get them out. Only time will tell.
@joysabin I don't know if you have this where you are, but bitter apple spray works really well to keep dogs from chewing things. Our baseboards were taking a hit before we starting using it.

@eudora I guess I need to think like her. I saw a YouTube video about this and they said she is just bored. I bought her a puzzle treat toy which should help. @yaorenliu Young dogs are a great deal of work but worth every bit.
