Spend some time at my favorite spot at the Grand Canyon and introduced Mr. S to Shoshone Point. It is a considered a back country hike but also a wedding venue for the intrepid bride and groom. There is a 1 mile hike to the point from the road. The best part (for me) is no gobs of other tourists. We had the spot to ourselves for about 45 minutes,
If you do go, bring lunch or a book and enjoy the canyon like most don't, in solitude.
